You did a great job. But I bet you had fun with the white lettering on the fronts? Feels good when you do something yourself and it turns out like that

i didn't actually paint the lettering, the 4 pot calipers are the old raised letters type.
all i did was sand thru the powder coat with sand and block into the steel a bit to give it the shiney steel look. i should post up a DIY on it , i was proud as punch with the finish.

ok...my current calipers are the Wrx 4 pots. I used a tiny sponge to paint the raised lettering. I think your method is brilliant never thaught of doing it that way.

im no expert on this stuff.. the sanding approach is gr8 idea.. do you think it might rust thou? or have you put like a clear layer over the sanded back part?

VHT clear coat
as the 4 pots are cast there are a lot of imperfections that take a bit of elbow grease to get thru. i spent about 1/2 hour - 45min on each one but you can still see some rough bits. up to u how far you want to take it.

They look sweet, blindingly bright. But maybe it's just in that photo. Great stuff.

hey ethan....how are you mate?they only have about 8 colours and a clear coat. i guess i could have got them painted buy a spray painter if i wanted a different colour but that paint might not be able to handle the heat....i thaught about yellow,silver and orange but i didnt want to be put on the rice :roll: list mate
