BUDDAH,

I don't think it would be the gas as 4 - 5 years ago they were using the same sort of air con gas. R134A

Hope this helps

umm.... I don't get it.... What is the point of all that a/c buttons/displays?? Is it supposed to do something?
Buddah, I've got an MY07 GT too with crap a/c - on a hot day, even with both sides set on 18 degrees, the driver side blows warmer air than passenger.
anyone else had this problem / any fixes??

I suggest to not use 'auto' mode. It's a joke. Instead switch the air con unit to full manual (there's a key combo for this) and then you can simply adjust the fan speed and temperature like a normal system without the unit deciding things for itself. Climate control when done properly can be really good. Subaru climate control is zany.

My MY07GT's A/C works fine.....

Well what you will notice and this was mentioned in the early stages of the release of the MY07 is that the driver side will always have warm air blowing towards your feet. Cant remember why exactly but if you turn off your a/c and stick your hand down there, you can feel it.

I have an 09 GT spec B R. Has anyone worked out how to adjust temperature automatically using just the right hand side temperature control on a dual zone climate control unit? I've had the Gold Gti & Audi S3 & both can be turned onto automatic so the driver’s side temperature control, controls both sides at once without having to toggle both left & right control knobs?

I dont have dual zone so im not sure for the libs but with most cars iv had/been in you held the button/s or knob that adjusted the drivers side and it would level the passenger to the driver side and they would both then be adjusted by the driver side.

Yes I thought so too, tried a myriad of combinations but little luck. At least being able to communicate such things on a forum lets us all know if it's an unknown or it's just not a feature :)
