My MY07 2.5i manual doesn't have the rings either, so don't feel left out. I think it is because there is the single cup holder, as the high-low shifter takes the space of the front cup holder...

MY07 2.5i definitely doesn't have the rings... the 2.0R obviously does... ;)

Hi all!

I will sell those clear acrylic rings for cupholder illuminations

I'm thinking 20 usd / 15 euros from pair and shipping for plain rings. I'm not try to takeover this thread and make it as marketing area, so don't hesitate to contact me with a private messages.

here are pictures of the products..

as you can notice, there is a slight difference to the original ring, it's because of the CNC machine limitations, but i can finalize those to match exactly as originals, just took pictures of first sample piece.

Hmm, that doesnt make sense. I highly doubt that Subaru would incorporate the rings in the entry level model and the GT/3.0R-B and not the 2.5i.

Only thing i can think is that your car is a MY08 (if its build date is after July or August 2007 its a MY08). I know that the MY08's definitely didn't have the rings.

Your probably right about the fact that you only have 1 cup holder, but i have no idea what you are talking about with the high low shifter?

I'd reckon that I know what my eyes are seeing! My car is an MY07 build, 2.5i, which has a dual range transfer box in it... no light rings... I'll take a photo at some stage if it will help settle the level of disbelief that Subaru use different trim pieces between models...

Sorry, i was unaware of the dual range in the Liberty until now. But im sure the non-dual range 2.5i's do have the rings in the MY07.

Cornelious...

The things you are selling, does it mean that those of us WITHOUT the clear rings can convert, or do you have to already ahve the clear rings, and your only selling the parts to 'light up' the clear rings...?

Hi,

I'm selling those clear rings for people who has black plastic ones in their cupholders. I faced this problem myself too when i taked my cupholders apart. I was very piss off of this and walked into plastic machinery shop. I asked would they do me a 50 pieces of this rings, so i have now 24 pairs left of those rings.

(cad drawing time, cnc machinery time and acrylic plastic sheet price, because making rings from a sheet ain't so effective.)

I don't wanna rip off horrible amount of money from these so i sell those 20usd/pair including shipping all over world.

Leds, resistor before and wiring for leds can also be included into package as "bolt-on ready" install.

If you feel intrest about these, please write me a personal message..

Pretty simple to do.
