True, true. Also worked out the other day that the previous owner had tinted the windows.

Haha. I started with just wanting lowering springs and that's it. Ignorance is bliss and I was happy when I first started on the forum.

It's hard not to mod when you hang around modders.

 Some good lines in there

Right at the moment, I'm quite happy with it. That's not to say that down the track I won't get some coilovers with fully adjustable shocks (probably sooner than later to reduce some of the bump harshness) and look at other options to improve braking and handling. Also something to release some of the exhaust note. But for the time being I can't justify spending a few grand on it when I'm not pushing its boundaries yet, particularly with the extended warranty

Haha. I got offered free extended warranty from Subaru as well (5 years), which I most likely negated with the mods I've slapped on (or totally stock according to Norm's definition).

But considering you do a lot of spirited driving, Tony, I'm surprised you haven't gone down the modding path earlier. Because once you push it to the limits and realise the car doesn't feel very stable or could be a lot better, modding is a cure. Better control, better braking, better launching, and a lot more fun! Unleash your beast! :D

I would personally cover it up unless you were going to stick a pipe on it to run down to the front bar. It'll be sucking a proportion of hotter engine bay gas rather than air over top of the radiator if left open.
