List of available OBD scanners

Detailed descriptions of how to do things to your Liberty.

OBDII scanner/software

Postby loweart » Mon Feb 16, 2009 5:14 pm

Hey Guys,

The amount of data that can be retrieved is partially governed by the level of compliance to the OBDII standard your Liberty has been built to, so I can only assume that the more modern your model, the better compliance and hopefully access to more data ?!?

Yes, their website is quite generic in regards to info and I can only assume that it's because this software is made to talk to a vast array of makes and models of vehicles.

Easiest way to answer your questions is if you post your email address here and I'll happily send you the user manual in pdf format and that way you can see the features and screenshots etc......

Cheers,
Lok

Hi all,
ECUDatascan.com has stopped selling the old range of displays, and will be replacing them with these:

400MHz Samsung ARM9 CPU
480 x 272 16 bit (65,000+) colour LCD touch screen
Built in GPS receiver
SD Card slot
Built in FM transmitter
Windscreen suction cup mount

It looks like they have just added an OBD2 connection to a standard GPS navigator (nice idea :))

yeah, I reckon that is all the DashDAQ guys did too (going by a few snide comments on some geek forums I ran across when researching it)

The hardware, bootloader, operating system, and of course software itself has been built for a very specific purpose. I'm sure you'll be happy with the overall result as more information is made public.
