Does the "butt dyno" measure the recent HP / torques loss returned ? Greater than ???

Yes it does and Dave is happy with the results so far. Before the car really felt a bit erratic and jerky when hitting wot thru the gears. Now the delivery is way more consistent and smooth. Is it louder yes for sure but only really when light on the throttle. For me thats rare so no problem

V.Good results Dave. And yeah, the shroud will ensure air goes over the IC rather than spilling out over the rest of the air (path of least resistance).

If you've got some air gaps around the shroud and IC, get some foam from Clark Rubber and ensure the IC splitter and engine cover create an airtight seal, you'd be surprised how much better the IC can work when the air is forced through it!

You'll feel it as consistent performance in hot and cold weather, mainly as consistent torque/thrust delivery.

I have in my possession an Ultrex CF Lip which will be going on tomorrow morning. Looks pretty good and I will be posting up some pics after the install and good wash.

I spent a few hours at Switzerland over the weekend and did a new lip install.

I removed the sti front lip and installed a Ultrex CF Front Lip this weekend. Near perfect fitment requiring me to drill 4 extra holes where the molding points for it were. Used hardware from the sti front lip and all went together well.

excuse phone pics and will do better soon!

Why the change to the Ultrex lip Dave? Is it to ensure you keep the STi lip pristine for sale of the car down the track? or simply wanted the Carbon Fibre look?

Well I got the lip for a fair price and thought it would finish off the CF look in the front well, which it did. The sti lip has been cleaned up and will be stored until either I break the CF one or sell the car.

TNT delivered some early xmas goodies yesterday. New set of Pirelli P-Zero Nero tyres to replace my originals (40,000 kms) and a set of Swift Sport Springs. Both get installed tomorrow along with a new wheel alignment. Tyres bought from ebay supplier St George Tyres in Sydney and I paid $1120 landed in Perth at my door - great price and service. Springs were purchased from Nick at Entra for $600 landed in Perth. Will post pics once installed tomorrow.
