His = MY08 GTB tb STi
Hers= MY07 Outback Premium

Having owned a WRX STI previously I have moved back to a subaru (x2), however the current stable has become more sedate/children friendly..!

Not heaps of major differences between the two. That said, love the lib STi. Looks great mate.

LOL. One is as tall as sky scraper, the other on the floor. You'd fall into the lib, and climb into the Outback. :D

ha ha. My wife sometimes does.... interestingly enough my 17 month old son knows which one is 'mummies and 'daddies' though

Yes the wife does drive mine however, she perfers the ride in the outback so mainly takes that one. It's funny she said "I don't notice much difference in performance" I don't think she has discovered the Sports modes yet....... and I will therefore keep her in the dark about that one (otherwise I know what her choice will be as she loved the STI..!)

Lol this is funny, I was about to start a topic on what is the difference between outbacks and liberty wagons lol... Can someone actually explain what the major differences are though, I can see that the liberty is a bit lower and longer???

Also, why do you have two station wagons almost the exact same? Seems kinda strange, like going and buying 2 of the exact same car pretty much lol...?

Outback has different interior colours, higher clearance, flared guards, two little bevels on the front bonnet, different grille, different side skits, front bumper, fog lights, higher roof rack and i think different seats. Dont think its longer, maybe just the front bumper but uses the same body as the Liberty

So can you fit tougher offset or wider wheels with those arches on the outback?

That's a good question! teK dude - thoughts??

The Outback is not longer. The Outback is exactly the same body as the Lib., only with add-on's as mentioned above.

As for having two wagons - I do too! I love it, so practical, and we can go out with the lil tacker and still fit all the gear in both cars so we can choose which car to take. Bets having to go out in the same car every time if it's all the family going out. We normally choose the car based on the roads we're going. If it's tight, twisty and has hills, it's the Lib, otherwise it's the other car.

To the OP - nice pair mate! :good:
