Hey guys, i have finally got around to putting up these photos from our catch up at olympic park, it was great to finally meet some of you guys (danny, shane & michael) next time i will let you know more in advance, hope yous like the pics from homebush, i also have a couple of random photos from the trip home!

(NOTE: Can someone PLEASE tell me why they look so shit? Have i made them too small in size? they are under 100kb, or is it cos i changed the pixels from 4266 to 1000? i have no idea, PLEASE HELP!)

I think you need to look a bit closer, Ric :)

Yeah, they're shite because they're reduced to 100kb. Throw them up on photobucket and link to them. Very easy to do !

Are you uploading your picture files to Photobucket AS IS or are you compressing them and re-sizing them first? Because if you upload them at the full resolution, Photobucket will shrink them down using the largest compression possible, making them look really pixelated. You're better off re-sizing them yourself with a program like Photoshop or ACDSee (or the many others out there) prior to uploading them.

i am compressing and resizing them myself using capture NX2 perhaps i wont make them so small next time. they looked fine after i resized them using capture, it was not till i uploaded them and saw them on the computer as a JPEG that i realised they were crap.

I didn't notice the banding in the blue skies on my laptop screen before.
Yes, that just looks like too much compression.
