One morning in 1978, French filmmaker Claude Lelouch mounted a gyro-stabilized camera to the bumper of a Ferrari 275 GTB and had a friend, a professional Formula 1 racer, drive at breakneck speed through the heart of Paris early in the morning . The film was limited for technical reasons to 10 minutes; the course was from Porte Dauphine , through the Louvre, to the Basilica of Sacre Coeur.
No streets were closed, for Lelouch was unable to obtain a permit.
The driver completed the course in about 9 minutes, reaching nearly 140 MPH in some stretches. The footage reveals him running red lights, nearly hitting pedestrians, and driving the wrong way up one-way streets.
Upon showing the film in public for the first time, Lelouch was arrested. He has never revealed the identity of the driver, and the film went underground. If you haven't seen this before it is a classic. Click the link below.

there has been alot of talk about this video, if they really used a Ferrari 275 GTB or fait 124 and just speeds up the frames......and included a sound track, but any way its a great classic video, i have seen an uncut version of this which included a close call with pigeon….. great driving

Yep oldie but a goodie - the one that started it all - the Porsche vid followed then Nissan ripped it all off in true Jap style to do a teaser media release of the 350z (they made it all "legal" by closing the streets) Far more boring

isnt there a music video with some of this, the birds near the end I believe was in a snow patrol music video.

but would be a lot of fun to do something like that

Now i would love to drive like that, just without all the dangers Maybe a track would suit me better
