I can believe that. Do you keep everything long term?

I try to. I don't have to, once I supply the images then it should be out of my jurisdiction. However I prefer to.

Time to buy a new hard drive, methinks. Yesterday's shoot was an additional 1.2GB...

I'm not a fan of external peripherals. I will probably just buy a 1.5TB 3.5" drive and move everything over, then sell the 1TB that I have at the moment.

System drive is safe - 60GB OCZ Vertex :) mmm fast. Solid state ftw!

Do you at least mirror the data drive (eg RAID), and/or have regular backups? That'd be an awful lot of work to lose!

If you have that taken care of then it's all good... it's just that it's my job to be paranoid about data, lol

No I'm not mirroring it, though I should. I regularly replace the drive (i.e. my current 1TB to 1.5TB upgrade soon) so it should be relatively safe as I don't keep the hard drive long enough for problems to manifest itself.

Touch wood.

Looks nice Matt, but the first one looks too yellow because of the afternoon sun (you took it at 6:23pm). Maybe a slight white balance change.

The bike in the background is a bit distracting for me.

I checked the EXIF tag ;) 20mm at f/4.8, 1/2000s... :P

Looks slightly better, but maybe increase contrast and also black clipping.

edit: here's my quick processing - hope you don't mind.

Took your original image and changed the colour temperature, increased the contrast, black clipping and slight fill light.
