Well a mate on his bike from Coffs was heading through to Jindabyne for the weekend so I offered to show him some of the back roads from Lithgow into Bathurst.

Isn't it a good feeling to see these babies?

We parted company in Bathurst after a coffee after the obligatory lap :D

Geez, it must be hard being a learner in Bathurst when all your parents have for you to practice in is a phase 3 :D

We dropped into the museum to check out the new Brock memorial statue. It looks good from front on

But a rather half arsed effort from any other angle :?

Another artsy shot later in the day in the middle of nowhere

Nice day for pics :)

I didn't realise you could drive on the actual track...

thanks guys.

Oooh yeah, you most certainly can drive on the track - it's a public road with a number of residences, wineries and even a clay pidgeon range having entrances onto it. 60km/h speed limit though which is reputed to be well policed (though I haven't seen any on there). It is so hard to maintain 60 coming down Conrod

My parents took us around bathurst in the Hilux we kinda went over the 60KM/H mark just by rolling all the way down conrod
