hopefully someone knows a bit about this (thanks in advance)
1) I've got a K&N panel filter in, do i need to re-tune?
2) will a K&N filter destroy the turbo?
3) I've also got some avo mufflers on their way. If i put them on with the K&N filter, will i need a re-tune?

You shouldn't need a re-tune with a K&N - BUT being oilable, some of the oil can suck through and coat your AFM (air flow meter) and then screw with its readings - most tuners say to avoid them for that reason alone.
But the K&Ns have one other big problem, they allow through more fine dust/grit into your engine (=wear) , and they really only flow a tiny bit better than a stock paper unit when clean, but worse when dirty - personally I think they are a bit of a con.
Well known comparison of aftermarket filters for a Duramax vs stock in the USA a few years back, measured using a flow bench and how much dust/grit got through by mass...

I've got a Gen5 auto wagon as well, looking at doing the new dump pipe but wasn't sure on the mufflers.
