Me & 2 of the team funeral member head down to Wakefield for bit of track time today. It was organized by Shift Performance ... and we also met up with Norm aka LIBSTI.

Overall it was excellent day weather was perfect !! sunny & air temp was COLD ~ and there were mix variety of cars ... but lots of HONDA power !!

It was Louey & Norm's first time on the track ... and both did great job. Louey's best time was 1:18 which got him the Most Improved Driver Award ! and Norm got 1:20 great work !!

i did 1:19 ...... (need lot more improvement haha) Phat gt did 1:17 .... as he couldn't push his car due to a broken end link ~~

the quickest time for the day was a R32 GTR with 1:07 follow by a EG civic 1:08 ...

hhmmmm we need to have a liberty track day soon !!

Back on topic How do the stock brakes hold up on the track & what about the tires do you use most or all of your tread?

Louey was running brembo ... phat was running big blue endless ..

i was running std brake with Dixcel rotor & pads (type M) .. very happy with them .. works very well once apply bit of heat to it ! and specially i only do for few hot lap .. so during that time the brakes were holding up great !!

Norm was most likely running std factory pads so he can tell u guys how that went !!

As i use factory pads before on track and i found Dixcel pad & rotor is on another level !

tyres ... Louey & phat were running semi slicks ... Louey founf the tyres were much better later in the day once the track is bit warmer ..
i was running Dunlop FM 109 ... it was ok .. and i guess i wasn't pushing hard enough ... as the tyres were still looking ok ~
