haha, it looks quicker than what it feels like. Although, I am somewhat at the limit for street tyres (KU31s)...
No practice rounds, but there are a few youtube clips that give you a good look at the course before hand.
Take the first run easy and push it a little further over each successive run while making changes to your line, braking and acceleration points. If you reach the limit and start to slide too much or run out of track, back off a little for the next run.
The great thing about hillclimb is you are only racing against yourself, so you only push it within safe limits - well, that's my approach anyway... I want to keep having fun and not have to pay for potential significant repairs!

DECA Hillclimb - Shepparton Victoria

Postby FOZxtc » Thu Apr 17, 2014 3:21 pm

Stock suspension to make for a very loose 6 runs. Placed third in class :) if I still had the STi suspension in I would have gained about 3 seconds. As it was, my first run was 40.09 sec and my sixth and final was 38.7 seconds I was beaten to second by a R34 Skyline @ 38.67 the fkr!

Enjoy:

1st run 40.09

2nd run 39.7

3rd run 39.44

6th run 38.7
