Foz XT gets crunched in new NZ road safety ad

Surely Foz's also have curtain airbags, which strangely don't go off...

Funnily enough I'm in NZ with a Foz rental right now. Hope it isn't a sign lol.

The thread title is misleading.

The main purpose of that television commercial is the marketing and justification of speed cameras to the general public.

Which in turn has precious little to do with road safety.

+1

I'm so tired of the "speed kills" brainwashing we are subjected to. Didn't know NZ has the same bullshit ads until seeing this though.

Seriously if they were really concerned about road safety, why not have compulsory advanced driver training??

To get your motorcycle license, you have to do a rider training course (I did mine with Stay Upright many years ago) - why not have something like this to get your car licence as well!?

Just have a look at this rubbish:

http://jointhedrive.qld.gov.au/

That's not road safety, it's marketing. People just don't realise because they all love "social media".
