Jack and I started mucking about with some timelapse videos... kicked off with a night run on Friday 7 June

Thought it may be a good idea to capture and share thoughts/creations using time lapse vids..... subject matter should be related to libs of course

Jack and I had a first run starting from Homebush Olympic Park, and a quick run into the city, over the bridge, and then back down via Epping Rd.

Heres Jack's one - mounted inside the car. Someone buy him some windscreen wipes!

And here's my one - suction cup mount, externally on the roof

Admit theres nothing too fancy in these, being a trial run.....

Starts the mind thinking on different ideas, and will try some different angles next time

PS: I still can't work out how to correctly embed youtube vids :angry2:

Embed these links

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEHXAnvgpTc

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5ZTmCgJu-0

If you try shortened youtube links or links with &feature tacked on to the end of them they will not work, also links with https:// instead of http:// will not work.

Sounds good Jack... a few things on for me this month.... how does mid August sound?

You'll have to share some of your tips

Sharing a few recent timelapse vids

1) One is a night timelapse with Jack - zooming down the M5 and around sydney airport.

2) Second is from our recent Sydney Xmas2013 cruise

Had fun putting them together..... and getting better (and more creative) with the camera angles, etc

If you have a gopro/action camera, located in sydney and are interested in testing/practicing us, let Jack or I know

Awesome as usual Simon! Can you dropbox me some of the gopro photos of my car to me, from your camera?

Just some of the good close up ones. Like getting on the ferry and leaving Gosford there were a few I noticed

Here's one I did at the start of the year. Mix between Gopro and DSLR:

One photo every 3 seconds seems to work well.
