Yep. But as a fan of the 68-73 era Floyd, a little dissappointed they focused only on the Waters era stuff. Still, cool ad. A little reminiscent of the ending of Zabriskie Point too. :D

I also used to be their fan, but now they are too... different from those they used to be...

That depends upon your definition of "now".
With Syd Barrett and Richard Wright both gone, none of the previous incarnations still exist.
Live-8 in 2005, and David, Roger and Nick briefly playing together at the O2 Arena last year are the last memories we have of any of them playing together.

One of my all time favorites. :D
I love the bit at 4:43 where a drumstick goes flying, and Nick grabs a spare without missing a beat.

True story, some of the film canisters from this song were lost before editing. They intended showing all the band members, but pretty much only had footage of Nick left, which is why you see a few stills of the others in the middle. Nick's mum enjoyed it.

All hail the best band in the world, who regretfully probably won't get together ever again. Yes, Richard Wright is passed on, but there is still three, but Dave's too busy doing other stuff, Nick's got too many Ferraris and the only sliver we have is Roger holding the torch - ironic really.

Seen Roger twice now - all weird, but dang - the music is powerful.

Never understood why all members (including Wright) considered this a weak link on their best selling album.
One of the best tunes from that album IMO.

I was lucky enough to see The Wall in Brisbane recently. Even though it was not Pink Floyd it was still satisfying as it is very Rogers Waters and what his interpretation of the music is.

Have you heard much of David Gilmour's solo stuff? Very good.

There are concerts, there are festivals and then there is the experience of Pink Floyd. Feb '88 Perth.

In decades since, as a professional concert sound engineer, there has never been any act that has come close.

Well maybe Fat Boy Slim ... But on a disco bunny level. :D

Pink floyd was an awesome band... sad from departing that late great singers.. Wright was so special because he was a player as well. WISH cinema could have this band among there today's singers like Sunidhi Chauhan Video Songs
