Worst that could happen is I might slide off onto the grass. Been there, done that many times.
My biggest fear is tapping someone else's car. That could get very awkward. Was plenty of elbow room that day.

Actually, the MGA is built on a steel chassis. The only timber is in the floors, which means it can be replaced easily and won't rust.
The MGB's were the first monocoque, so they flex a lot more.
