Hey Guys,

Noticed a few photographers out there on the forums as well as some people with some pretty neat video.

All though some of you may find lame, I wouldn't mind making a video of my car.

I wanted to produce something similar to this, bit longer with some driving in it.

1st problem is I have no idea what kind of camera gear he is using, second thing is how much editing has been done.

Has anyone else tried something like this with there cars, If so I want to know what kind of gear they are using.

I currently have a Canon 60D with HD Video (don't know if this helps)

Any advice appreciated!

Looks like a Dolly and a tripod were the only things used apart from a camera.

Editing looks fairly light on.

What kind of camera you think he used for it?

What's a dolly?

Your 60D would do just as good as that video, just depends on your lens. A dolly is a camera mount that is on wheels, it lets you move the camera in a smooth motion. This can also be done with a gimbal, which is a camera mount that has counter weights to stabilize your motion whilst you move around.
