Try riding one, they go very very very well. B/c of the size of them- at speed you are like sitting in an arm chair.

On a closed Course I was clocked at doing 235 on one wheel... Now thats a rush... (Closed course= race track)

Hahahah no thanks!

I think I keep it strictly to just watching web clips. :D

A lot of the web clips are fake, they gear the bike to look like it''s going faster than it really is (larger rear sprocket). Nothing like doing it for yourself... on a closed track of course... I've seen 275 on my old ZX10R and 285 on a Blackbird, but Honda are notoriously inaccurate.[/i]

a friend of mine let me take her R1 for a strap... Now that is a bike that i could have very easily gotten myself in trouble with... turned me into a bit of a sook really... :(

sat on and took a hyyabusa to about 50km, then the pure size of the bugger freaked me out a bit... i know i know, im a blouse...

Anything with 170hp and weighing in at 170kg can turn most of us into sooks

ok, i know this is an old thread.

but has any1 wondered how his speedo actually keeps climbing while he wheelies?

bikes in general have their speedos hooked up to the front wheel...

and, the speed climb is so smooth... no indication of gear change.

Speedo's used to be connected to the front wheel when bikes had drum brakes, have been gearbox driven for many years now 8)
