Nice shots Clarance. It can be hard to pan at that speed and keep things composed and focused. What lens did you use?

70-200mm on the 5D Mark III.

Panning at 1/40s. Probably could go faster...

Maybe 1/60 but the shots are pretty sharp at internet res. Blown up you might see the difference.

I think I could have gotten keepers at 1/80 or even 1/100s... They were drag boats doing 9 second passes, at that speed I could still be panning

no i hevent i did sit in the drivers seat and found that when i turn my leg gets in the way and i can't turn the wheel - very small cockpit.

Wow that sucks, then I think to my car when people sit in the back and me just driving normally they hit their heads on my roof! Haha priceless
