Not sure if you mean mine or Jack's query..

I put this up on my Facebook page a few weeks ago to demonstrate how my photos look like straight out of camera. No adjustments (except for a very slight crop angle), after it was imported into Lightroom.

Hey mate,

Without giving away too many secrets, can you tell me what settings that was taken at? app? Iso? Speed?

Also what time of day, inside/outside etc..

My dad has an AMG c63 in a similar colour and I'd like to get a shot like that for him. .

Don't worry about lighting hints etc..

Also, you know this already, but that looks sweet

Regards to settings... Irrelevant :) I go by feel each time depending on car colour and background. But my settings for this photo is in the pic above ;)

Yeah I picked it up with my 1983 105mm Micro Nikkor f/2.8 (also MF, and on my DX camera, is a 157.5mm lens). The glass in both these lenses is superb.. negligible distortion... which is why I bought them. I currently use the micro quite heavily (for making prints etc) but don't use the 28mm at all. PM if you are interested!

Lol.. helps if you look at the picture on a computer and not your phone that cuts off the image at the right headlight...

Cheers mate. .

Need an opinion from photographers..

I'm rebuilding Leman's Go Karts site and asked them to have some high quality shots of their track. Their normal "video guy" who is normally quite good hired someone to take photos of their track and these were the shots I got.

Skies are all blow out.. some images are blurry.. no lighting control..

I think they're asking for like $1000+ for about 400 of these shots (half a day's work)? I asked them to provide them to me in raw but it was .jpg

Dafuq?

What would be the cost to have a photographer come out and take a few good shots? Recommendations?
