Stock lights with ClearGuard overlay film.

Wheels look like the Advan Connoisseur 151C.

They are manufactured by a company which labels them "ClearGuard" they come in solid tinted, and tinted with perforated holes.

Haha. Clear-Guard is the company as well as the product. They're just at: http://www.clear-guard.com. Or just click here to check out their products for the MY05 GT.

Instead of spraying the taillights, they have an overlay film that fits over the plastic cover to give it a tinted look rather than having to mess with paints and sprays. And the best part is they peel right off when you're not in the mood anymore or you get a defect ticket. :ok:

Don't get anything similar on eBay though, because the tint film through there is a paper thin and just wrinkles. The Clear-Guard film is thick so it stretches easier and doesn't wrinkle or bubble. Although smoked taillights is not for everyone though (ask Adam who bought my extra set of tint from Clear-Guard). See this link to see the set I sold to Leo: http://forum.liberty.asn.au/viewtopic.php?t=1951

As for the wheels, yes, Tangcla is right again. They are the Advan Connoisseur 151C. 19 x 8.5 and will cost you a left nut to get a set. Pricey!!! :shok: Yes, need to roll the rear, and depending on how low you are, the fronts as well.

in your case you most defiantly would  you'll need to get 7.5" with no more than +45mm offset to clear your guards sitting that low

I'm running 7.5" +42 and need to roll the fronts slightly. Rears are perfect, no need to roll :D

Unfortunately no night time pics, but since they are lightly smoked and not solid, you will hardly see the holes in the brake lights. Rather it just illuminates close to a solid red. But if you look close you'll see the holes shine a bit brighter. Looks very good at night.

Unfortunately I think you can only put them on once. Because once you peel them off, they lose their ability to stick. But at least you get the option of peeling them off. Whereas if you paint them they are very hard to get off with paint thinner, at least not without damaging the plastic.

No wonder I saw a kid wearing a "My Brother Drives A Liberty" t-shirt.

Thank you for the pictures Jim and for taking some time off to see me.

Being the millionth black liberty to turn up on Michael's doorstep  , a big thank you to Michael for helping me with my exhaust.

I haven't got any internet access until tonight, so I am sorry for the late reply.

You guys look like twins!

I am starting to wonder as well Phil, whether or not this Eka really exist, or this is really all just Jim doing, because he wanted to create his own team?

I can't believe I have been spotted 3 times within such a short time period. :o Better be more careful now if I want to get up onto any mischief, the city have eyes.

I could take one if you want to have a look. Although I can't guarantee the result, as my camera is not fancy. But if you are planning to get one, I highly recommend the one with the holes.

They are the Advan Connoisseur 151C. 19 x 8.5 and will cost you a left nut to get a set. Pricey!!!

I thought it cost 10 fingers, oh that's right I don't have any nuts.

Eka, if you ever sell your wheels... I want first dibs!!

I shall remember that. But probably not for a while.

Hey! :big_boss: If that's the case I'm happy to go back to Team Arith. Membership: 1 ... Me! :mda:

That's because your car stands out too much now. If you want to get up to no good and not be spotted, you should return it to stock. :pardon:

I shall remember that. But probably not for a while.

Rumor has it you're upgrading to a Merc soon, so I don't think the wait will be too long. :derisive:
