some decent rims at last!

hey guys.
after having the car off the road for over a month, I decided to splurge and buy some rims for it. 19x8 Roh Modena's (3-piece wheel) in Shadow Chrome. I'm happy with it - subtle yet aggressive, not to boy-racer or bling bling.. definitely a bumpier ride (215/35 Federal 595's), but more responsive steering.

Now I need to make the thing go faster. And there's enough room in the wheels for some Brembo's later down the track!

Don't worry Louey - the "Tuned By STi" badge aint going on it! If I'd known how cheap PhatGT can get the INGS front for, I would've put that on instead of the STi front lip.

XRCI5T - do you know how rare black Tuned By Sti's are? I've never seen a black one in the flesh or any 2nd hand ones For Sale. You're a lucky ba$stard! :)

Liber8ed - the car has Pedders Springs which lower it by 35mm or so.

Yeah I have never seen another black 06 tbsti sedan in the flesh either, I have no idea how many were made, but I know of 2 others, 1 other in sydney and 1 in melb. Black wagon seen 1 know of 3.
Silver and Urban grey's see around a fair bit.

sorry man - have just returned from overseas... i bought the rims 2nd hand, and they were $2.6K. I think they're worth over $5K new with decent tyres (they're a 3-piece).
