The Evolution of WASABI... Into A sedan!!!

Postby swingn » Sat May 29, 2010 7:46 am

Hi All

Well the wagon left my hands yesterday afternoon... Even though she was stock as a rock, it was still sad to see her go :(

But sometimes its out with the old & in with the new :) Here is the wagon's replacement:

Apologies for the image quality, camera I had was rather ordinary - Plus the opporators weren't much chop either :P Will take a few more over the next few days :)

So it's a MY10 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X MR - TMR Bathurst Limited Edition... 247kw, 436nm + some other goodies like TMR springs & powder coated forged BBS rims.

Although in some respects it's not as well finished as the Liberty, it's actually not far off in terms of overall comfort / luxury (Heated Recaros do help ;) ) & as a stock car she goes mighty well.

Cheers!

I feel "dirty" . . . LOL :D

Jokes aside - good on you Matt - top piece of machinery. I'd own one so they can't be that bad .

Another turns to the dark side

 Well our good friend Phat GT inroduced me to a nice set of 19's that would allow me to run 265-275 tyres all around ;)

Will do a few bits & pieces, but mostly cosmetic... Pretty happy with how the car is out of the box... For now :P

I reckon a few VB's may change you mind...

If they released an EVO X wagon, I probably would've gotten it :D The EVO 8 (Or 9) wagons look awesome!

Out of the box it goes harder then my wagon did - Mind you, I never got to feel the full force of the HKS turbo I had... Handling isn't quite as sharp as the coilovers, but it's not far off it.

In some respects, it feels better due to how quick the SST / DSG / PDK (Whatever you want to call it :P) shifts. Having 245 /40 18's all round also does help :P
