Seriously though, that is seriously chunky!

You really think that the USDM car will that much different to the JDM? Global car manufacturing logistics dictate it can't be. Why would they make two different cars? There will be some minor cosmetic differences granted, but ultimately, they will be very similar... f'n chunky!

I could probably achieve the same look if I put that grill on our Toyota Aurion.

Heard of the Honda Accord?

Not saying that the JDM will be a completely different car (the peek shots from Subaru discount that) but it has been done before and will likely be done again

USDM Subaru Legacy is made the state of Indiana in the USA.

JDM and ADM Subaru Legacy / Liberty are made in Japan.

One reason is the different federal government standards for bumpers, impact protection in the USA or Japan or Australia.

Nick Senior - GM Subaru Australia has already stated in the media previously that Australia would get the Japanese manufactured Subaru. Sucks to live in America if you want a Subaru.

Its going to have to be fairly drastically different in order to look good imo..

Still looking forward to seeing how it turns out in the flesh...

Looks to be significantly bigger than the Gen4's!?

the gen5 looks like a hazard, powerlines in aus hang too low, the gen5 might be too high for it
