Tripod was absolutely necessary. Even with "image stabilisation" there was no way I was taking any shots without the tripod. I was even using a 2 second shutter delay.

Well done guys - great turn out by the looks of things. I seriously think that I'll have to drive to Syd for a meet coz it's blardy dead down here apart from about 4-5 guys... I'm jealous!

Steve mate, if you were to come to Sydney, I'm certain we get get a few of us out to say hello It all depends on the person buddy.

I reckon the reason why the turn outs are so good is cause the bunch of guys are great too, I'd happily sit down and have a beer and talk car trash with anyone of them... so it ain't just about cars but just a good ole fashion catch up. Along with some food and some squirts, it always makes a good combination.

Plus the goodies some of us supply too, everyone makes an effort

i didn't start that thread with the intentions of making it a 'which city has the most libs and meets' subject....... if so i woulda named it so.......

the topic was the fact that Melbourne is a BETTER place to live.... i have to totally agree with that!
