Looks good, would look better if you didn't have the lights on for the first pic though, because it's got overblown highlights.

not with your headlights on, it's far too bright for the rest of the dark scene. Have your headlights off, trust me it looks heaps better. :P

The only way you COULD do it would be to do a series of exposure bracketing shots, and combine them in HDR - but you'd need a VERY wide exposure difference of at least four stops (more likely more) because the headlights are that much brighter than the rest of the scene.

Do a long exposure on a tripod, and get someone inside the car to turn the lights on briefly while the shutter is open. :)

we have a winner ! nice suggestion ric . (and others )
you can possibly also try a smaller aperture (ie f18-22 in TV mode) to take the edge off the highlights
careful of lens flare with night shots too ;)
