you think your car accelerates quick

ok, i know this is an old thread.

but has any1 wondered how his speedo actually keeps climbing while he wheelies?

bikes in general have their speedos hooked up to the front wheel...

and, the speed climb is so smooth... no indication of gear change.

Most bikes dont have that arrangement anymore, well none of the high powered sposts bikes anyway...

I have a friend who can wheelie like that, his gear changes are super smooth and don't result in any noticeable changes to his speed or altitude.

A girl with an R1... nice, what's her number?

It's hard to find a girl who 'likes' bikes, let alone rides a superbike like the R1.

lol most of my female friends like bikes and cars..

but i dont think any would want a bike..

we have 3 motorbikes at my house, my dads (850), my best mates (650) and my mums (250)..

i dont want one, i got my bike L's last year, but never followed through to doing any more riding, just wasnt for me lol.. i like my cars

That sort of stuff makes me wish I lived in the country. There are not too many places you can clock high speeds in sydney in with degree of confidence you are not going to get on the front page of a newspaper. New poster here already talking about speeding. But with bikes it is different.
