Sorry mate, grille looks good but that badge has got to go imo.
A silver badge will look the goods though.

Anyway stuff your grille, what about the ICPC!

Yeh, I'm in the same opinion, will give it a week and see how it goes, might take it off and put the Subaru blue oval in the middle.

Will have to wait til the weekend, there's a fair bit of work to install if it doesn't fit under the seat, so will have to give myself enough time to do it.

+1 on making that red badge disappear. Sorry. If you had a consistent red trim theme throughout the car it might go, but that sudden appearance of red in that location for that accessory just doesn't make it flow. Stick with chrome. :D

Badge is gone, it started to annoy me lol. Needs something there though.

OK so spent a few hours installing the PC, everything works, Was very nervous when connecting the power wire to the battery

I also ended up installing a powered USB hub in the glove box, should be handy to connect things up on the go.

Very happy with it, unfortunately I didn't take many pics along the way, but the ones I did I will post up tomorrow.

Also sinve it's the first time I have connected it to the car, I haven't configure the dash command software yet.

For now here is a vid, sorry about the quality, it was pretty much dark by the time I took it.

Tai that is FUCKING AWESOME!

God damnit if I didn't have so many other parts to buy right now I would get that straight away.
Looking forward to some install pics, and also enjoy your new status as the in car PC guru, expect many questions from a lot of people in the near future 8)

Anyways once again, top work!

Thanks guys :D

Spent a few hours in the car with the kids today so it had a bit of a work out. A couple of minor bugs, but nothing too hard to fix.

1. The power / reset button on the PC case can be accidently hit if your kid is in the back pushing on the floor mats lol. I will relocate the button away from the case.
2. Need to set the screen to never sleep, or else when watching a movie, the screen will switch off, very annoying

Here are some pics of the install as promised.

This was the mess my car was in whilst doing the install, it actually got a lot worse but I didn't take a pic.
Image

Subaru conveniently put an indent under the drivers seat just for the Car PC ;)
Image

I'm a bit lazy and didn't want to unbolt the seat, so as you can see I ran a coat hanger to pull the wires under the carpet, worked well.
Image

Here is where the computer now resides, it is fixed in place with velcro for easy removal.
The floor mat actually hides most of the wires, and with the drivers seat positioned to my driving position you can't see it at all.
Ran a 12g power cable from the battery through the front guard and in through the kick panel with a fuse just after the battery.
Image

I also installed a USB hub in the glove box for handy access.
Image

This is to show some of the wiring behind the deck. I have retained the power plugs for the screen and the USB hub and hard wired them in.
Reason being is that they have voltage stabilizers built into them.
Image

And sorry for this photo, I took one last night just before it got dark and haven't had a chance to take another. So it will have to do for now.
