They may have changed the conditions of the policy schedule for this option to apply to vehicles only 20 years and older, i'd escalate that if you were still keen.

Just to clarify I didn't have the option selected, wish i had but for what i paid for the wreck i'm not too fussed either way.


Ah ok I misread I thought you had that option. That explains it then, we can't choose the salvage option unless the car is really old haha

Well given that the guy I spoke to said they don't offer it on newer cars the answer is that you can't choose it as an option. If you already had it then you're lucky as they can't just take the option away from you :)
