Eyelids take 2! This time successful!

Postby nytrojen » Wed Mar 31, 2010 7:41 pm

For those who can't remember my last attempt, here's a refresher:

But now... $105 later (thanks HEAPS Chris (06blitzen) for organising this group buy!!!):

Before:

And AFTER!!! OMG FINALLY HAVE EYELIDS ON MY CAR!!! I spent way too much time, money and effort on these things in the end... but it was a psychological thing. I HAD to do them after it all went so pearshaped the first time!

Hehe... cheers. Took long enough! And I had sooooo many painting issues! The last coat of clear I did went hazy cos of this damn freakish humidity in melb. Had to spend 4 hours buffing it out!

avon,

Just want to know, where did you get your paint? Since I bought spray touch up paint from supercheap auto but still not dark enough.

Thanks.

Hey Avon do they mix paints as little pots (touchup paint style with the little brush inside the cap).... I'm not looking at spraying anything just need something to touch up all these little scratches and chips.

They don't mix up touch-up pots, but they usually have them in stock. I got one for my colour for little stone chips an such as well

In stock? They must have a LOT of little pots in their own room to cover all the major makes and models of even the last 5 years :)
