As title says, also repainted my grille, although you might not be able to see that easily, I painted the surround body coloured then sprayed a very light layer of paint over the badge, it made the chrome look like the colour of the stock Spec B wheels (Shadow chrome). Also got a set of ULTREX RS rims a while back. That's all! :)

And yes those scratches on my front bumper are very unique, stripes.. They're going to be the new thing..

Thanks to Rob for supplying the bits!

Looks good sir! The chrome surround on the grill never quite looked right, so it's good that you blacked it out. Great job!

Lip and grille look the goods mate.

Rims look cheap without centre caps IMO and a tad darker would suit the car alot better.

Does it flex and crack the paint, or cop stone chips?

I have one of these on the way and was looking at treating it with Meguiars Forever Black or similar to give it a deep black colour closer the the real sti lips, rather than the hazy sort of charcoal colour these are.

put it this way..its plastic and its the closest contact point to everything on the road..it will look awesome painted...for about 10 minutes of driving. Do not lower your car if you want to paint this item.

Yeah thanks for that. I was really only wanting to paint it like a darker black, than what it is now. But I'll give your suggestion a go before anyhting..

My car is already lowered  Your comment makes me feel the need to lower it a bit more!
