Looked bloody great (IMO), but the photos I took of it turned out like crap. Will dig them up and post them anyway.

That'd be interesting to see. :D

Then see ye shall !

Please don't confuse my crap photography with the actual appearance. They looked great. The colour temperature in the photos with the headlights on tends to make them appear almost white, and blurs them together. Not sure what I need to do to make them appear as they do in real life - hoping purchasing an SLR will help me here.

I quite like the look with it below the light - sets a nice glow on the headlight internals.

hmm i like, but IMO would've gone white LED to match the rest of ur lights...

i saw an older model BMW with the strip inside the lamp on the road and one of the lights was about to die so it was flickering...... not a good look.... would be a bitch to open up the headlight housing to change

btw dwayne, did u find it hard opening ur headlight housing? and how did u re-seal it?

EDIT: it would seem as though u installed them on the outside..... my bad!

Yeah I CBF opening the headlight housing - they were fitted with blu-tack at the time as I was just experimenting, but given they were nice flexible strips then double sided tape would work fine.

I've got more LED strips on the way including white ones to test out the appearance. Will take more pics then !

As an aside - how have people wired additional lighting into their park light switch ? is it just a matter of splicing the wiring near the park light and running it from there ? Any gotchas ?

mate looks awesome.

can u let me know what kinda parkers and fogs you've got? they look pretty blue (like 6000K) but they dont look the same colour as your 6000K low beam.

i know its a bit rice, but i really like the light for subtly under the hood scoop.....

Rice it is, but the scoop wasn't actually my idea, was my 15yr olds who was helping me do it all. When lighting looks nicer than the rice factor, I'll do it. Other way around, no way.

Easy equation: NICE > RICE = Yes. RICE > NICE = No.

As for the LED's, the parkers were a custom order - I've got a spare set, but as you noticed they have a blue tinge when compared to another light source, on their own they're fine. They're 9SMD LED's. If you're interested I'll take a photo of them and send it through.

The foglight LED's were bought from Arith, don't know if he's got a set left or not, but mine are about to be sold to make way for something else !

Hey that led strip on the top like an eyebrows looks SWEET!, very aggresive. Where did you buy the strips from, and how have you secured it onto the weatherstrip assembly?

In the lower position the strip also looks great as well, very close to the Audi strip so that is on my wishlist too :D

These are ones to trial only, the manufacturer is looking at making different lengths and colours and I'll be importing and selling them soon.

These are not permanently mounted, this was a "what does it look like" trial run only, so blu-tack was the weapon of choice. I'm looking at getting them delivered with double sided tape as an option.

Will put up a for sale post once it's all sorted, along with pics.

Rgds

Full marks for playing around with it mate. I like the strips at the top (first few pics). Looks aggressive as teK said. :good:

There's more photos, might put them up later. Was playing around with the blue lighting in the map pocket and under the side of the car.....

have you got a photo of the led strip itself?

Im interested in playing around with it (some different ideas to yours), but want it to be the most discreet looking strip i can find.

Thanks, Cyrus

Good on ya, Dwayne! Looks good! Don't like these anti-ricers push you around. :D These LED strips are truly only limited by imagination.
