Just a couple of quick pic's of my car and it's amazingly slow progression of where I want it to be......had it for over 6 months now and am just getting my act together...

Next up, clear indicators which are sitting right next to me, 18's which need tyres and are in my garage, then lowering..also thinking of changing all of the interior out for some new seats and stuff that I have found...

Nothing special really but i'll get it to where I want it...

Don't worry mate... I had my car for over a year before I did any mods.

You thinking about doing any performance based mods?

Probably not, it's not a fast car and never will be....not really sure what can be done either so ill prob just leave it.

It's going to be a ricer, tasteful ricer...wont be doing an exhaust have learnt my lesson from the previous two cars...

any tips would be much appreciated....

I have thought about doing that but I hve seen it done with these longer MY02 and MY03 mudflaps and they dont look as nice as what you have on your legacy as they are longer and more chunk...In a way i feel it kinda colour coordinates the car somewhat.

Ill see what it comes out like with the rims and lowered.

I'm really digging the black and white contrast colour scheme. I'd say keep and go with that. Keep the mudflaps the way they are... and maybe tint the tail light assembly? I reckon that'd look mean as.

If you have that godawful 3d printed fake woodtrim interior, i'd say that would have to go!! Replace it, paint it, chrome it... just get rid of it! Makes it look like such a grandpa car inside

Ha ha its not really that bad in my car its actually really dark to the point you can hardly tell whereas in my Gen 2 it was really obvious fake wood...Could probably track down the strips from the B4 and make it silver..

I was like swingn said - had my car 2.5 years... Now starting to mod it.

I agree about keeping it black and white. The contrast looks good. Will look even better with 18's and dropped a bit. Make sure you post pics when it's done!

Given that I owned a MY02 RX Lib Wagon (dark blue was my choice) and did a few minor mods to it, I may be able to help you out a bit with what you can do to start with that's nice and minor but makes the car SO much more fun to own and drive.

For a better response from the engine do the following:
- 3" high flow muffler (2.5" in is fine)
- Very, high grade gearbox and diff fluids (really helps iron out the shudder on throttle lift off)
- High quality 10W30 full synth engine oil
- Make yourself some new engine earths (anything HAS to be better than the stockers!)
- Scrape off the paint at the chassis mount points for the earths and use di-electric grease around the bolts
- Install a high flow panel filter (like a K&N unit, works a treat)

I've got all the dyno work, diagrams, pics and changes for mine here, have a read and see the changes. Peak power went up a little bit, but the BIG difference is the smoothness improvement in power delivery both on throttle and when you lift off throttle. The car will also rev a LOT easier. hey man it looks tops. i was thinkin bout doin the black mudflaps myself seeing ive got a full black grill and so on.

i wanna lower mine aswell but i always tend to spend the money on other things like getting new headbulbs hahahha

Nuthin wrong with progressive mods if you haven't got a short term ownership view of the car. 2 or 3 year leases are quite different to personal cars that you may well own for up to 10 years! Both my current cars are long term prospects and seeing mods slowly.
