Dixcel Brake Pads for Brembos

I recently purchased a set of dixcel type M brake pads to suit my front Brembos. After 4 weeks of bedding them in and some spirited hills driving I can confirm that these pads are worth every cent I paid for them. Not only are they a big improvement over the stock pads in terms of braking but they are WAY better in terms of the amount of brake dust emitted on to my rims. Its amazing how little dust I am getting on the wheels and I AM VERY HAPPY. Big thanks to Troy at Prospeed Racing for supply.

That's great to hear, Dave! I also find the Dixcels to provide excellent grip while having an incredible low level of dust. Definitely recommended for anyone with standard or Brembo brakes.

dave, how have your your oem rotors help up?
do you have lips or groves forming?

rotors are in very good condition after about 21 months and 30,000 kms of use. These pads are bloody awesome, fark all dust and def improvement in stopping vs oem pads.

How are they for:
- Cold operation
- Heavy load (very hot operation)
- squeel
- feel
- Grinding at low speeds

No issues for any of the above, and bugger all brake dust. These are an awesome street pad for the brembos.

Are you running factory rotors still or have you moved to a slotted/drilled rotor like the DBA4000 (or similar) series?

running factory rotors still as they have held up nicely to date.

running factory rotors still as they have held up nicely to date.
You intending on upgrading the rotors soon?

Probably a must have mod for braking.
I was running the dixcel pads and rotors i got from Phat.
They were awesome for track day.
