09 XT Forester

Well, I think it’s been long enough mourning the loss of OzFoz and my therapist suggested starting a new build thread with Club Lib.
So here goes..

Please bear with me while I insert the relevant information per each mod. It will no doubt take some time (three hours a day on public transport should cover that). I also see 1000 pixel images are not very friendly for phone viewing..

Initially I had a Silicone intake, but wasn’t impressed with the fitment as it is suited for the stock TD04L. So I embarked on a little mission to make my own. Being a novice with 3D CAD this relatively basic design took at least a few years off my life but I managed to get there in the end with the down side of onset grey hair.
I intentionally went with a flange mount to achieve the smoothest transition around the TGV.
Printing using on the multi jet fusion is horrifically not cost efficient, hence why these are not readily available.

The Baro Mod!
Featuring a precision cut acrylic cover (adhered with roofing silicon). It's not too uncommon these failing due to water ingress, so the cover seemed like a suitable solution

I think one of your machined fittings is out of spec by half a thou.

After spending two hours going over all my custom fittings with the micrometer.. I give up, nothing exceeded .01mm.
