Hi Gents,

Long Time forum user, back again in a Liberty/Legacy. Purchased Lucy back in July/August this year, as a family/sports car. Loving the 2.0 GTB, sad about selling the boy toy WRX GC8. First few months of driving the car, I felt a little empty after swapping from the GC8 to the Legacy, however I learnt that Sport # mode provides the same feeling I had with the GC8, now I am in love with the car and it feels just the same, but with more family room.

Purchased With Mods:
STI Genome for boost control
STI front lip (makes any speed bump seem like a mountain to climb) relearning my 45 degree entry to my drive way
3inch cat back exhaust (with stock mufflers) previous owners wife drove the car
whiteline sway bars
ADM Head unit
K&N filter

Mods planned:
TMIC - Process West Top mount
CAI- Process Wes Cold air intake
Coil overs - currently have the stock Bilstein, want another either another set of MCA's, or something that I can connect a econ to for the ability to change the ride from soft to hard. My wife will drive the car at times.
Tune - Once the engine mods are done I will look to tune the car to get it running like it should (nice and safe)
Mesh Front Grille

Mods Ordered:

Mods Completed:
Head Unit - Took the factory GPS unit out of the car, and the ADM headunit, and replaced with Pioneer AVH-Z5250BT, with a reversing camera as my kids are getting to running around the drive way age, wanted added security they are not behind the car.
Exhaust (Mufflers) - Purchased and fitted recently the Ultrex twin tip mufflers, nice and loud and provide the same feeling the WRX had in terms of noise (however missing the uneven length burble)
Headlights - Recently visited HKS180 (Leo) to get the lights installed, they are amazingly good value and make the car look how I want it too.
LED Tailights - Waiting for delivery

Mods unknow:
I am constantly searching through importmonster, japanparts, and other jdm importers for parts I have not seen and I think will work with the car.

Niiiice! That’s a Japanese import?
Probably the nicest spec out there: postfl, dual avcs, equal length headers, all stock.
Great colour too :good:

Needs moar 3/4 pic, and skirts to match the rear bumper low line skirt?

Auto or manual?

I’d definitely recommend Shockworks coilovers, developed in Melbourne ;)
Once you get your damper settings right they don’t really require econs, however the Cusco type controller is FS on FB right now...

100% JDM imported in 2012

In its stock form its just as good as the GC8, a little sad to lose the boxer rumble/burble, but with the upgraded exhaust this one sounds tougher.

Manual, rules for the car purchase (Turbo, Manual, Wagon) and I was wanting a Subaru (not picky at all  )

I will look into the coilovers, looking for something the wife can drive, my wrx was really stiff, felt like you were kidney punched on bumps.

Shockworks all the way, makes swaybar upgrades more or less redundant, for street driving at least.
Hang on I already made that recommendation :P ^^^

Love it! :good:
I see rear bumper extension, oem rain shields, blackout non washer headlights with halos and switchback strips...
Does it have the oem option skirts with the built in front rear strakes to match the rear bumper extension?
Edit: no, I did the levels on the pic to see into the shadows...

Btw I have a set of the clear mars/hanabi’s in good condition, all working, just gotta dig up where they’re stashed.

Unfortunately no, had the car up on a hoist the other day, and its just the side skirt. need to hunt a pair down for the car.

Purchased from Sydney so might have been seen on cruises up that way.

I remember a user had one similar in Newy, Chris was his name I believe, not the same car.
