Yesterday I decided to do the delete.
I used this walkthrough

"How hard can it be" I thought as I started at 9am...
Just two bolts to remove this giant eyesore
I removed the solenoid from the passenger side, no problem, slightly fiddly, but nothing too bad.
Then the problems began.
To undo the hard line and remove the driver's side solenoid I had to remove the turbo (fun times).
Once that was done I was able to install the deletes.
At this point it was about 4pm, but finally I had all of this junk removed
I then reinstalled everything so I could move the car to shut the garage door for the night. But because I was in a rush I forgot the turbo heatshield, and I missed that I needed the sensor from the top of the driver's side solenoid.
This morning I cut off the sensor
Plugged it in and cable-tied it out of the way (as well as reinstalling the heatshield)
And finally engine back together ready to go, looking nicer without the pump in it.
