Mine was 158.6kW with dump, fuel pump, air filter, TMIC, and BOV running at ~18.5lb and around ~11.6 AFR on BP Ultimate with a conservative-ish tune. I've run a best trap speed of 96 which seems to match up relatively well with that figure for a full-weight car.

Something doesn't sound right for your tune. I only picked up about 15kW over stock, so you're still missing about 10kW from an unmodified car on 98.

Yeah something isn't right... I made 155kw stock + tune, and that was when I had the leaky stock BPV.

On another note, how did you find fitment of the AVO TMIC? I've seen on some of the US forums that people have trouble with the underside rubbing and bending fins.

Im always confused about Dyno figures, Satogixxer has a manual Gt and he did 149.5kw completely stock without a tune. Must be so many variables involved.
Mechanic fitted the intercooler , it is a direct fit, But the 2 top plugs for the engine cover didn't line up with the 2 holes for the intercooler,( so you would have to do something about that, I didn't take notice about any rubbing or bending fins. Mechanic didn't mention anything. I will have a look tomorrow.

Ok no worries. I think it's more that the intercooler sits close to a slave cylinder (I think, stretching my memory here) and it touches due to flex in the car when driving. I can try to dig up the thread and PM it to you.

sorry for late reply, Been searching the US forums alot. No updates. One tuner in Taiwan mentioned that the auto's are very hit and miss on the dyno's for some reason. Another mentioned could be boost leak. But all the logs seem fine, everything seems ok. Have not actually tested. Maybe The dyno guy didnt even put it on Sports# , lol, i doubt it. i asked him , he said he did.

In any case, i have just received an upgraded turbo, It is an 18g with a vf54 casing Hybrid. Gen v autos in the US and Taiwan have been doing really well on them. No boost creep, fast spool. So i will Install this as well as a few other bolt ons such as Racer x charger pipe kit, catch can, timing belt, plugs, boost controller, engine mounts, transmission mounts, alloy radiator, Tranny cooler e.t.c in a few weeks. Then do a final tune. See how i go. Im going to push it as far as i can on stock internals and stock transmission.

will update when i complete.

So everything is pretty much complete for now. I did the 18g, Vf54 Hybrid turbo upgrade. Dyno figure Attached on e85. Tuning was done by Les sharp (Les sharp open source tuning in Taiwan). Extremely responsive and helpful person. Specialises in Gen V's. For the Mods i did, Dyno figure seems very low, however the figure does not reflect the real world feel. It feels much quicker then 185kw. Turbo is more laggy then the stock VF54 ofcourse, but it more then makes up for it on mid range and high end. Very smooth delivery, we have boost capped at 19lbs, and reaches this target through all gears straight to redline.

0-100km time is 4.8seconds on a cool night, with brake boosting. Timed on the Btssm app connected to OBD adapter on the car via bluetooth. which i have confirmed is accurate with a gps app, and reads 5km less then the speedometer. Is there are more accurate way to test? I will try and get a 1/4 mile run, as this will give me a good reference point of performance.

As you can see on the Dyno,a slight Flat spot at about 3900rpm, Dyno guy says it has something to do with the AVCS settings which is best tuned on the Dyno. That flat spot is something i can't feel on the road.

Very nice progress! Bet the new turbo feels great on the open road!

The torque figure i would agree with.... Power figure does not seem right at all...

thanks, both the Dyno guy and the tuner have mentioned that the Autos are very hit and miss on the Dynos, something to do with the torque converter. They just don't read well for some reason. But the only way to really find out would be a 1/4 mile run i think to see if its reflective of the figures. Or to line up a 220kw wrx or something lol. Like i said , on the road feels excellent, and figures just give you a good reference point for progress, but i also would like to know for sure if its a mechanical issue for the low readings or something else. Realistically it should be at-least a 210-215kw car with the current setup i believe.

Throw it on a different dyno, you might get a higher reading.

reads 5km less then the speedometer
That's normal, run slightly taller tyres :P

Different dyno, maybe 10kw max difference if anything,

Yes, i mentioned that to show that it is reading fairly accurately as it reads less then the speedo, because the speedos are off by about 5kms most of the time.

PWR Alloy 42mm Radiator (6491) Its basically their WRX one which fits our cars, they will just need to block off one outlet port. Cost $870
