UPDATE:
Few days ago i started hearing a slight knocking sound from the engine on the highway under load. FLKC on the BTSSM app showed -1.4 on high load and high revs. Arrived at my destination and when i went back to start the car , the knock was very loud and continuous at idle and when i revved it as well. So to avoid further issues, i called a tow truck and took it straight to the mechanics. (All drive subaru in sydney) They will check it later this week or the next. Could be piston, or could be timing belt related, who knows. I have seen issues from Subarus, where a timing belt tensioner pulley bolt snapped, causing a knocking sound.
The belt and all pulleys were changed about 4000kms ago by another mechanic which i won't mention their name (have had previous issue with them, one case in particular.)
Will be interesting to see what it is. If it requires an engine rebuild i am prepared for that and i already knew the pistons are the weak spot when increasing power. Would be an excuse for a rebuild, ( if the block is still ok)
It came out of nowhere, i monitor the car very carefully, radiator temps are perfect, Even FLKC was always good. No leaks, no issues what so ever. AFR is great according to my current tuner and another tuner.
Will update when i have more info.
