Went to get in my car this morning only to notice a card on my windscreen!! Good to see you guys are recruiting lol Who was it?

Image

Been a long time lurker and originally did have a page for my car but must have deleted all the photos at some time. But today I have been inspired to get involved again and start posting.

Recently I sprayed the wheels black with a spray painter mate and boy do wheels involve alot of preparation, don't want to do that again any time soon.

Current mods/changes:
-Coilovers
-Gloss black 2 pac wheels
-Ebay spec window defelctors
-Front numberplate lifted
-Roof racks
-Rear camber adjustment bushing

Future:
-Full exhaust with tune
-something different with front grille
-Full respray
-Sti front lip

But who knows what the future holds, If you have any ideas hit me up!

Before I attend to any of these there are many current problems I need to fix. The car has an infuriating overheating problem, windscreen washer bottle needs replacing, catback overheats every few weeks (quick fix being I purchased a code reader to clear the computer) and new brake discs/pads.

Here are some current photos. I know some are similar but that's all I got.

Welcome mate, car looks good and the paint on those wheels looks like great work. The old setup looks nice and aggressive, what wheels and specs were they?

Also top job to whoever recruited you

Rota mxr 18x9.5 +38 from memory. I ran a 215 in these photos but at a later date had 225 which was a better option.

Thanks guys, Bad news in the last week. Turns out the headgasket is gone! Car getting 70k engine installed Friday. Using a work ute for the time being but hopefully get her back by Monday. On the plus side atleast my car won't have sticky lifters any more either haha.

Oh that sucks. So it sounds like the motor just lunched itself if you have to get another engine installed.

Thanks man, good to know hit me up if your keen for a fish, always dropping a line around central coast but mostly Lake Macquarie. I might even be interested in some of those STI mufflers :D

And Shav the engine hasn't been running right for a while. I would put it up to poor servicing and neglect from old owner. Much cheaper to replace then to repair heads aswell as lifter problems.

Picked up the car this morning and its going great! Engine seems to be running smoothly and is much quiter then the old one with certainly no lack of power.
I think ill still drop the oil at around 500k's and crack open the oil filter to look for any surprises
