Looks pretty good though

I've been having a think about that too, just haven't gotten around to figuring out where the best place is for venting. The main part stops just where the headers are so the engine bay isn't completely sealed off, so I'm not absolutely certain if I need specific vents for it. Since I've got the temperature prob coming, I'll test the temps before and after the splitter and if the temperature doesn't increase, I think it will be fine as it isn't overheating at the moment. Fingers crossed though!

I'd add a 45 degree kicker on the trailing edge to create turbulence and therefore a vacuum under the car.
The hope is to increase the amount of air that has been heated by the radiator leaving the engine bay.
Will also allow more to flow through the radiator due to creating pressure difference.

Thoughts?

That's interesting! I've never heard of that, so you mean bend the last 10cm or something of the rear of the splitter 45 degrees down?

Sweet! What material are you gonna use? I'm thinking about using some thin sheet steel. Will paint it to prevent rust of course.

Would you not use something like 2-3mm aluminium sheet? Much lighter. Might be a bit more expensive though.

+1 for aluminium. No matter how well you paint it its an area thats gonna get a hard time from debris getting flicked up, why not just use a material that won't need constant attention, also aluminium sheet keeps its shape alot better than thin sheetmetal does.

I was planning to use aluminium as the final material, but they're so expensive so I thought it might be a good idea to make a "prototype" if you will, out of thin sheet steel. Where can I find cheap aluminium sheets? I need 1.8x1. 2x1 would be ideal.
