G'day everyone!

I purchased my first ever liberty over the weekend! So far I'm loving everything about it! I thought I should make a thread on here as I got the car through the for sale thread off here from Mark and I would love to be able to have somewhere to post loads of photos and see what input I can get from everyone in regards to what I should change or add or whatever you guys think!!

So at the moment I have a few pics to share and not very many modifications to talk about! But I know how much everyone loves pics so I'll post them! :)

The first modification i'm thinking about doing is adding a reversing camera and/or sensors, maybe even for the front aswell to help protect the lip. Not sure what the best options are so some tips from somebody who has maybe installed one in the past would be great!

The one thing to me that is important about anything I do to this car, is that I want everything to be to a VERY high standard, as I would hate to cheap out and buy a bunch of cheap parts and have a load of issues at the end of the day.

Anyway! Looking forward to seeing what you all think! (Oh and also, I like to take quite a few photos so I'll try to add lots of them)

Thanks everyone!! :D

The car as it is now...

Congratulations on the car! Get those windows tinted to cut the UV. The rear glass is only privacy glass and not UV resistant. As I just recently learned with mine. I did the sunroof also and it's cut the cabin temps by heaps!

*UPDATE*

So bad news for my poor lib :'(

The big end bearing has gone and as a result the car has been dropped off at Ichiban Imports in Sydney to get a brand new ej257 short block installed with arp 2000 head studs, Killer Bee oil pickup, new oil cooler, new timing belt kit with idlers tensioner and water pump along with a 3 port boost control solenoid and a full dyno tune. Going to set me back a touch under $8000 after taking everything into account. I could have done it cheaper but decided I would rather do it properly with the right parts and do what I could to prevent issues in the future. The car went in today and is likely to be there for another two weeks :'(

But hey! It will be a stronger engine once everything has been done and will be a great base to have for any future modifications.
