The new intake path looks like it'll really get the job done :)

The car definitely needs a 're tune, there is a slight difference on how the car drives so going to take it steady still as I'm a few weeks off getting in tuned.
On the maf we pulled the yellow/blue and yellowgreen wires from the maf and connected the new sensor to those. We left all the original maf connectors on the wires so we could reverse the mod if necessary.

So finally the right fuel pump has turned up but I have also discovered the next weakest link. I turned the ac on for the first time the other week and the water temp gauge rose up, it has never ever moved before.

Thinking about his logically, the rad is behind the ac heat exchanger, 2 charge cooler rads and now the inter cooler for the traction fluid for the SC. I guess there is just not enough cool air getting to the rad when the ac pump is running.

May well have to look at getting a more efficient rad built, all ideas welcome.

Finally got round to fitting the DW300c fuel pump, and did a bit more prep work on the front bumper I acquired.

The other win with this bumper is that it uses the standard fog lights which save s a lot of cost. I'm also having a one off alloy rad made to help with keeping the temperature down.

Fascinating :)
Going the Balsarini grille too, or is any type compatible?

The grill is part of the bumper.

Indeed! Love the look.
Once saw a Maserati quattroporte w/o grille (damaged) and it looked awesome :)

So this was the first lot of repairs to the new bumper.

Image

First coat of primer followed by more skim filling to get rid of the last few imperfections.

All done, ready for trial fitting before sending off to paint.
