Finally after all the hassle with the engine I managed to spend a day tarting her up and adding an essential new addition to the dash board.

Fitted the Depo gauge to give me a clearer view of whats happening with the oil and boost.

Fitted the rear waist spoiler I have had in the garage for the last year. i'm happy with the overall effect, theres no going back as it requires 6 x 26mm holes being drilled through the garnish :?

Also last year I did a few days work for a mate of mine who runs a carbon moulding shop in exchange for him making a carbon lip spoiler for the Spec B. Think it has come out pretty well.

I think apart from needing a new front bumper at some point, cosmetically the car is nearly there. There are one or two other things I would like to do but I'm going to wait until after the final mapping and just enjoy some driving.

Future plans will be to fit coilovers and replace all suspension bushes with uprated items, I all ready have most for the rear of the car so only a little more collecting to do.

Just to add in some of the other mods on the car that happened last year before the first engine meltdown, so we 8 pot front brakes and 4 pot rears all on 330 discs and pics of the 75mm exhaust and fabbed section to join it to the Raptor headers.

Now up to 1200 miles of running in, time to drop the oil and put in the good stuff book a remap on the RR and start looking for the engines optimum setup :D

Looking great mate well done!
8 pot front brakes - they look sweet as! Are they the original brakes or retrofitted from another model?

They look like K sports - aftermarket brakes (with a subaru sticker). The biggest brakes to be fitted on a lib/leg are the 6 pot brembos on the S402. There's a number of aftermarket BBK options.

They are indeed the k sport brakes I bought both axle sets for £1100 from a guy in Portugal they retail at £900 per axle set.

When you step on the brake pedal you have to stop your self from hitting the steering wheel :D just kidding. The confidence they give you when braking is outstanding pound for pound it is one of the best performance mods I have ever made.

So had an issue of the sc pulling oil from the breather so I have disconnected that feed to the air intake bracket and put in an oil catch, please excuse the rudimentary bracket its hung on need more time to make a better one.

The final bit of the jigsaw has arrived, 56mm pulley. So its time to change the oil to the good stuff, Fuchs 10/50w fit the pulley and then book the final rolling road session.

To be honest I'm absolutely bricking it as the last one went pop on the rr, even though the failure was caused by damaged pistons being used. Watched to many clips on you tube of things going wrong.

Duncan from Racedynamics is going to be doing the mapping he did the last one when the piston let go.

Hey Richard,

What size pulley are you currently using? You're looking to change to a 56 mm pulley to gain more torque down low?

Cheers,
Al

Should see some solid results with the 56mm pulley.

All the best mate!
