Looks good mate, virtually the same spot as mine but I have it on the little quarter window not the door

Also nice pick up with the suede and leather seats too :)

Yeah I love the interior too, not sure how it ended up in this car, if it was a factory option or what not.
Also I did put the sticker on the quarter panel but it's just hard to see in the pic :P

Alright so in the past week, picked up a whole stock gen4 exhaust locally for cheap, with the help of a mate and an angle grinder there is two big cutouts in the rear mufflers, creating a surprisingly decent note for such a, dare i say 'haggard' mod.

So this huge hole, lets the sound get out faster instead of bouncing around in the muffler chamber or something like that, will post up a sound clip soon.

Sound clip

Also picked up some rear gt calipers and some rotors with it, will buy some dba rotors for the rears and better pads in the near future!
Also ordered some vht caliper paint and will have a go at painting my own calipers :D

So mint. Muffler delete without the hassle of having to make up a new exhaust tip and everything. So damn haggard but worth it, sounds dope irl.

Bilsteins installed, sitting a bit lower than stock due to the STI pink springs! Suspension install was actually very straight forward but difficult when you round a nut like I did :angry2: But with some ingenuity mason.a was able to help me out and removed the rounded nut etc helped me finish the install. Turned out pretty clean, although nothing is torqued to spec ATM.

Next on the agenda is an essential alignment and to clean my piece :)

It is firmer overall, but the handling is amazing when paired up with my re003s and rear sway bar!

Here is how it sits currently 1 day after install (no guards rolled as of yet no rubbing has occurred)

Bought some meguir's tire gel

Rusted rotors really kill the look, will be soon upgrading to some dba t2's and gt rear calipers and new brake pads with some DIY caliper painting!

Bought an sti group N pitch stop mount from Mao at evolution R. Easy to install, and very noticable difference in driving, would recommend to anyone

Made my gearbox feel less mushy and reduced shuddering when downshifting for me, overall tighter transmission feel. The item is the same as the stock pitch stop mount but with firmer rubber.

EDIT: makes it way more notchy and firm, similar to how a brz/86 box feels

Bought a short shifter after seeing Hyrax's post of him installing one.. pretty much thought why not $69 delivered!
Walkthrough install over here http://forum.liberty.asn.au/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=15482&start=90

So got this in the mail from cairn customs ebay storehttp://www.cairnscustoms.com/index.php?id_product=43&controller=product&id_lang=1
Image

Here's all you need, about $15-20 of bits and pieces. Mainly just the interior circlip pliers, you will most likely have some grease and a flathead lying around.
Image

Just have to remove a few clips and sound deadener to asscess to shifter. Undo the linkage swap over the bits from the stock shifter to the new one and put in back in as before. Check you've adequately lubed it up so its not sqeauky, especially the bit where the linkage meets the shifter stick!
Image

Slap everything abck on like ebfore and wallah about 30mins to an hour work depending on how confident you are :)
Image

The only gripe is that the shifter boot is clearly too big for the shortened length, but I was expecting this and will probably go along the route of a redlinecustom shift boot eventually.

TL;DR
Tie for best $80~ spent on my car, the other being the group N pitch stop mount :D
