Hey gents,
So I've been bouncing around on here for a little bit and yet to get a thread going for myself, at least it's here. Thought I would probably use this thread as not only a note for you of what I have done but also a place to record my idea's for the car and hopefully also get some suggestions from people with more knowledge than me. I believe the car will remain a street car though there is always time for this to change.

Details of my car:
I bought my 2007 liberty tuned by sti in november 2014, when I bought the car it had only 60,000km's on the clock, there is some parts of the car which have paint chipping unfortunately which I am hoping to fix up in the near future, further the paintwork has some noticeable swirl marking all over which I will in future be recruiting the assistance of a detailer to get rid of. The car also came with hurricane mufflers fitted prior to purchase and an aftermarket grille though otherwise it is stock at this time.

Parts waiting to go on:
At the moment I am focussing on getting a little more power into the car, I have bought a phat GT dump pipe from garage 88 ($910) and also have a HKS ES premium mid and y pipe which I bought from a used on here. These bits will hopefully be going on in 2 weeks or so before limping the car across to Got It Rex who will be tuning the car for me, very eager to see the dyno figure and curve that I make.

Pics to come :)

Great potential!
I have a festool rotex if you'd like an affordable de-swirl session :)

Swirl marks are my pet hate. People either don't know or care how to use the materials or the tools(buffs).Even the reps that sell
the gear only have half an idea. Finishing the paint work is the same process as proper repairing and prepping for paint.
You start with a coarse abrasive and go finer and finer and each step completely removes the scratches from the previous grade.
the finished product is a finish that has no hidden deep scratches or swirl marks, wich is scratches on the fine end of the scale usually
disguised with waxes. When done right you can prepsol the finished paint work and put it in the sunlight and see nothing ,just a perfect job.

Update:
My TBE has gone onto the car and she's been off to got it rex for her tune, overall I'm pretty happy, the care achieved just shy of 160kw at the wheels on their dyno (not a clue how tough got it's dyno is supposed to be). Though the 160kw is a bit short of what I was hoping for it still feels pretty amazing, power coming on at 2600 or so and running all the way through to about 5500 with a pretty flat torque curve. The note of the car is hella deep now, I haven't quite gotten around to doing a vid of the exhaust, partially due to the lack of any decent audio recording gear.

Please get an exhaust sound vid up when you can!
I was annoyed those HKS catback parts didn't fit my car, so keen to hear how they sound!
