Cheers guys, yeah its a lot of effort and cash to be throwing at a 2003 but it will stop me from buying something crazier and expensive and getting in debt with the bank to finance!(cough c63 amg cough !) I got a good price on the paint job and had half the cost from an insurance claim that where someone damaged my door so its not costing me too much to have a fresh new paint job

Yeah i might get a Merc in another year or so. 35 grand for a 2008 model plus road Tax is over 2 grand a year though so and expensive car for a daily driver!

Went to check on my black beauty today:

Image

All dents and damage etc has been fixed and filled and sanded and primed, Just out in the sunshine curing for a day or two. Final sanding on Monday, windows will be taken out and paint should start going on. I should have her back Friday next week.

Few extra layers of clear haha. Nothing you can do man the bumper will cop it no matter what at some point the first is always the worst after that is easier but still heartbreaking
