Guys

Had the new Greddy touch installed by Phat last night in friggen cold weather.

see link http://www.trust-power.com/03electric/i ... touch.html

Thanks again Michael for spending time to do the initial setup for me and jap to English conversion, I would have be stuffed without that. Also thanks for getting the unit so quick, these unit were only released in Japan by greddy on the 30th of June.

The unit is a info meter, which can read about 8+ different variables like

rpm
air flow.....
air flow current.........
throttle
throttle current........
in take temp
boost
fuel usage in yen...... very helpful.
and few other features I have yet to play around with.

The unit can show up to 6 reading at any one time, or the screen can be divided to show certain reading on larger scale, this can be fully customized by you. Also the read outs have a few options of how you can view the read out either, analogue dial, a simple figure, bar graph, semi circle graph, the units can be changed too e.g. boost into bar and psi.

The unit its self is touch screen lcd, no buttons and or dials, just use your finger or drag your finger over the screen to scroll and select the menu.

The unit can be used as a data logger for up to 15 minutes, great for track days, also warnings for max and min can be set on every read out.

The install was straight forward, it plugs into the factory ecu plug (blue one) under the dash, no cutting or soldiering required, the unit is powered through this plug so you don't need to use the cig lighter for power.

Unit would be a good and cheap way of measuring and comparing how all the different mods will impacts the running of the car.

when I get a chance to mount it, I flick some pics up.

I have always thought that Phat should work for one of the big jap car companies.

One of the most knowledgeable people I know in relation to anything to do with cars.
